Michael Silver has it right:

NEW ORLEANS – The day after he made the infamous speech that would provide a chilling context to the New Orleans Saints’ pay-for-injury scandal, Gregg Williams engaged in a conspicuous display of recklessness that some in the Crescent City still find even harder to forgive.

This is old ground, and I’m trying to watch my blood pressure, so I won’t go on a rant about the stupidity of basing your defense scheme on low-probability events such as turnovers and how that’s even dumber when you have a potent offense, which would seem to call for a conservative defensive scheme, limiting your opponent’s chance of making game-changing plays because you blitzed on third-and-long and/or didn’t feel like covering your opponent’s [biggest offensive threat][2].
